I absolutely love researching and learning about new books, packed with #CreativeGoodness. Do you?
And today, I’m excited to share insights with you about a new book, recently published by Martingale that certainly meets my expectations for my list of Books with #CreativeGoodness:
“Third Time’s A Charm: 21 Colorful Options for Charm-Pack Quilts”, by Barbara Groves and Mary Jacobson of Me and My Sister Designs.
Simple, quick, and oh-so charming–that’s the magic of quilts made by Me and My Sister Designs! This cute collection of seven make-in-a-weekend quilts starts with charms, tempting little packs of 5″ fabric squares in different colors and prints. Projects are perfect for table toppers, wall hangings, baby quilts, and more. Each design is shown in three different colorways, making it easy for you to imagine using your favorite colors.

I’ll confess I’ve been in love with Me and My Sister Designs for years. I’m also envious of the talent of these two sisters, as well as how well they work together to create and share their talents with quilters around the world. Clearly, they have made our world of quilting a wonderful place, full of #CreativeGoodness.
Their new book, a Third Time’s A Charm, is another “must-have” book. The 21 projects that are included are perfect for Charm-Packs, but also easy to use to help with stash busting. And, a perfect fun and fast project for decorating your home, a gift, teaching new quilters, etc.. Do not overlook the value of this book as it really is amazing.
Projects range in size from 24 1/2″x 24 1/2″ to 48 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ and they all come with easy to follow instructions, great visuals and photos of each project made in different colors. I also think that many confident quilters could easily adapt the designs from this book to just about any size of a quilt, wall hanging, or table topper!
I hope you get a chance to check out this new book at your favorite quilt shop. Of course, this is such a new book, should you not see it, I hope you will let them know about it and encourage them to make it available in their store. You can also learn more about this book on Amazon, as well as Martingale’s online store.
