I thoroughly enjoyed Fall Quilt Market, did you? No hassles for me with TSA, airport crowds, airport shuttles, and my feet aren’t even sore from all the walking around the convention floor. But I am sorry I didn’t get a chance to see you at Market.
Actually, I was attended Market virtually. During Fall Quilt Market I heavily stalked those in the business that share insights on their blogs, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. And, today, I want to share highlights of what I learned about new products that were introduced at Market. As always, if you see something you like I hope you’ll let your favorite quilt shops know you’d like to see them carry it. They may not have seen it at Market.
HOFFMAN CALIFORNIA FABRICS
Mandalicious by Free Bird Design caught my attention. Hoffman offers a kit (wholesale) for quilt shops of this gorgeous quilt. Photo by @QuiltMarket on Twitter.
Hoffman also shared photos of new designs of the Dream Big panel by Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero.
You can also find Jeanie on Instagram as @thedigitaljeanie, where I also learned her Dream Big panel is been released as a Dream Bigger that is 108″ x 108″.
LANDAUER PUBLISHING had a very inviting booth at Market and they shared insights on their Facebook page about their new books introduced at market.
Contemporary Paper-Pieced Quilts, by Jeannie Jenkins caught my attention.
ROBERT KAUFMAN FABRICS
I think it will be easy to fall in love with this new fabric collection, from Robert Kaufman Fabrics – Charlotte c. 1860 collection by Carrie Quinn. They also have a fun BOM program for quilt shops to offer to customers. Check out their Facebook page for more info.
Many new wonderful batik fabric collections were introducted at Market, by Island Batik, including new collections by Deb Tucker. They also had a very inviting booth showcasing many talented designers that created beautiful designs using these new fabric collections.
I was drawn to a unique design by Barb of Bejewed Quilts who designed the beautiful quilt on the right side of this photo (which Barb shared on her Facebook page).
Deb Tucker also shared pictures on her Facebook page.
The booth for Timeless Treasures was very inviting. Packed with inspirational quilts, incluing this gorgeous quilt photographed and shared on Instagram by SewTimeless
Timeless Treasures introduced many wonderful new fabric collections at Market, many of which were also had sneak peaks on shared their blog.
Their new cat fabric is purrfect for cat lovers (like me).
Benartex shared insights about new fabrics and quilt designs by Christa Watson, Cherry Guidry, and Nancy Halvorsen on their blog. All beautiful fabric collections, but My Happy Place, by Cherry Guidry, just screams creative fun to me.
RILEY BLAKE DESIGNS
Cat City is a new fabric collection from Riley Blake. The photo of this purrfect quilt was shared by the Fat Quarter Shop on Instagram.
New Westalee Rulers and programs were introduced at Market. This picture was shared by Sew Steady on their Facebook page.
HENRY GLASS & CO
While I’ll be sharing more insights about new fabric collections by Henry Glass & Co., very soon, I did want to share some peaks of what I found at Market:
This new “One Stitch at a Time” fabric collection, by Kim Dorste certainly caught my attention, when I spotted it on their Instagram account.
FAT QUARTER SHOP
One of my favorite researchers and reports at Quilt Market is the Fat Quarter Shop. They do an excellent job finding new products and sharing insights on their blog and Instagram. They also did an excellent job sharing insights from Schoolhouse on their blog, including quilts from their It’s Sew Emma’s latest book, Perfect 10 Quilts.
THE QUILT SHOW also did a great job sharing insights about Quilt Market. I found this one on their Twitter account.
Pin Pals – 40 Patchwork Pinnies, Poppets, and Pincushions with Pizzaz, by Carrie Nelson was introduced at Market.
Here is a recap to recognize the sources that I follow on social media that shared great insights about Fall Market. You can also search social media hashtag #QuiltMarket and #QuiltMarket2018 for such insights too!
Lastly, I want to make sure everyone is aware of upcoming Quilt Market Shows:
