This week I’m celebrating my new home on a wordpress hosted blog (vs previously I was on a self hosted wordpress blog). I’m also celebrating my love of #CreativeGoodness.
Every day this week you’ll find a giveaway for blog followers. To clarify, you need to be a follower of this new blog not my old blog and you can sign up for email updates by adding your email address on the right hand column. I’m happy to have you follow any way you wish (e.g. BlogLuvin, an App, email, etc).
Today, I’m sharings insights about a new book from Martingal called “A Quilter’s Journal“, by Lisa Bongean. This is a journal, that is absolutely perfect for quilters.
This is a journal that is also filled with #CreativeGoodness and inspiration, perfect for those who love quilting.
Keep more than just a journal–keep a record of your quilting life! Photographed at designer Lisa Bongean’s beautiful lakeside home, this inspiring week-by-week journal is filled with eye candy to enjoy year-round.
Answer fun prompts to create lists for must-do quilting adventures, keep track of projects, document gift and charity quilts, or simply keep this gorgeous date book as a memory journal for future generations of quilters in your family to cherish. All in a perfect size to carry in your bag on the go!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Lisa Bongean is a designer for Moda Fabrics and the owner of two Primitive Gatherings Quilt Shops (one in Wisconsin and the other in California). She creates patterns and kits for wholesale and retail, teaches at numerous quilt shows, and has contributed to several Martingale books, including the best seller Moda All-Stars: All in a Row.
This journal is a great tool to keep track of your quilty goals (but it would be helpful to log anything). I like how you turn every page you find more inspirational creativity, as well as places to log your goals, dreams, or even your to do list. You’ll also find areas to log such items as: quilts you are dreaming of making, quilt shows you want to attend, books & patterns wish list, etc., This book is extremely reasonably priced making it not just a great buy for you to give to yourself, but it also makes for a great gift to a quilting friend (or anyone who enjoys quilts).
I hope you get a chance to check out A Quilter’s Journal s at your favorite quilt shop, but if you don’t find it, do let them know you are interested in checking out this book. It is so new, they may not be aware of it. But don’t forget you can also check it out online at Martingale and also Amazon.
