One World Quilt Along

I’m thrilled to be able to share insights with you today about a fun Quilt-Along that kicks off September 15th, to make this stunning  One World quilt design.  This event is hosted by Keith Phillips (QuiltFusion) and Kim Jamieson-Hirst (Chatterbox Quilts) and will run for seven months, where you’ll be able to create your own beautiful  One World quilt.

This quilt was designed by Keith using Quilt Fusion software and when finished measures (51″ x 52″).    The design is comprised of six beautiful blocks which I think would also make great standalone wallhangings and/or tablerunners.  These block patterns, as well as final assembly instructions, will be released monthly.  And, for those that have electronic cutting machines the pattern also includes downloadable SVG files.

Participating quilters, as well as registered viewers will have a chance to win prizes.

Overview pattern provided when you sign up for this QAL shows fabric requirements for all blocks, with easy to follow assembly instructions.  This is a great time to sign up for this QAL, so you can get all your supplies ready for the kick off on September 15th.

You can create this project using fabrics from your stash.  Kim has even created a video to help you.  Of course, you can also purchase any fabrics you want to create with, or purchase via Batiks Plus using a “Click-A-Kit” feature to order all the fabrics from the kit, or build a kit with just part of the Hoffman Bali Fabrics used in this design.
